ABOUT LABORATORY

The laboratory was created in 2011 at MIPT by prof. Enikolopov G.N. with the support of the Megagrants program of the Russian Federation. ​At the moment, our research group continues to work at the Institute of Higher Nervous Activity and Neurophysiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences in close cooperation with Stony Brook University (USA).

Our main scientific interest lies in brain stem cells and neurogenesis research. We are also actively developing and implementing new methods of brain research, for example, methods for labeling stem cells and three-dimensional optical imaging of the whole brain of mice.
